Lake Garda Beach Clubs

As Italy’s largest lake, it comes as no surprise that Lake Garda is a very popular destination. As a result, beaches here can get crowded at times, especially during weekends and official holidays. If you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy a tranquil day at one of Lake Garda’s beaches, we recommend that you arrive early!

The beaches at Lake Garda are mostly covered with gravel and pebbles. Hence, it’s best to bring along water shoes and thick towels. Beach umbrellas are also a good idea, since most of the beaches on this lake don’t offer many shaded areas. The beaches in Malcesine are particularly beautiful, as they sit in little bays and are lapped by clear azure waters.

Another gorgeous beach is the Giamaica Beach in Sirmione, where beachgoers step on wide flat stones that seem to rise out of Lake Garda’s peaceful waters. This is a free beach and there are bars, restaurants and parking spots nearby. However, the beach can only be reached on foot and this can be challenging on a hot summer’s day, with a stroll carrying loads of beach gear.

Of course, there are also a number of Lake Garda beach clubs that serve food and drinks as well as rent loungers, umbrellas, beach volley boards etc. If you are looking for a great beach club experience, this is definitely the place to go. The Hollywood Beach Club near Bardolino is a lovely venue that’s a beach during the day, a restaurant at night and a disco with DJ sets and international guests in between.. lake garda beach club
